Model 7260BT-7270BT wall mounted, plastic bowl eyewash with AXION MSR™ eye/face wash head.

SPECFICATIONS

Model 7260BT-7270BT wall mounted eye/face wash shallinclude a green ABS plastic 11″ (27.9 cm) bowl, an AXIONMSR™ eye/face wash head shall feature inverteddirectional laminar flow which achieves zero vertical velocitysupplied by an integral flow control, chrome-plated brassstay-open ball valve equipped with stainless steel ball andstem, tail piece and trap, and chrome-plated brass in-line 50x 50 mesh water strainer. Unit shall also include cast-aluminumchromate protected wall bracket, yellow plastic pop-off dustcover for eyewash head, universal sign, 1/2″ IPS inlet, and1-1/2″ IPS waste. REQUIRES MODEL SP95 PRICED SEPARATELY.

APPLICATIONS

Where the eyes of any person may be exposed to injurious orcorrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick flushing andcleansing of the eyes must be provided within the work areafor immediate emergency use. Emergency eyewash facilitiesshall be in unobstructed and accessible locations that requireno more than 10 seconds for the injured person toreach.Model 7260BT-7270BT is certified by CSA to meet theANSI Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and ShowerEquipment.

QUALITY CONTROL
Eye/face wash and valve assembly is pre-built and fullywater/pressure tested to ensure no leaks and properfunction which ultimately reduces installation time andgives the end contractor an added peace of mind. Unitalso ships with pre-assembled cast-aluminum wall bracketto assist in the installation process.
BOWL
The 11″ (27.9 cm) round green ABS plastic receptor isresistant to damage from alkalies
TRAP
1-1/2″ IPS chrome-plated brass trap with tailpiece allow forthe emergency equipment to meet desired requirementsfor wall mounting.
STRAINERS/FILTERS
Chrome-plated brass in-line 50 x 50 mesh water strainerprevents debris from reaching the eyewash so the unitstays functioning at its best. Strainer is easily serviceable.
EYE/FACE WASH
AXION MSR™ eye/face wash head (patent pending)uses an inverted directional laminar flow to sweepcontaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity.

OPTIONS

  • Test Tag: SP170 is a green waterproof test card with spacefor date and initials of inspector. Used to record weeklytesting of emergency equipment.
  • Foot Treadle: Model SP220W wall mounted foot controlassembly, including powder-coated aluminum treadle andwall bracket for hands free activation of eyewash.
  • Instantaneous Water Heater: Model TWBS.EW.H,prepackaged instantaneous electrical water heater, 480VAC/3 phase/20 KW, fully engineered and tested systemwith fail-safe features to produce up to 6 gpm (22.7 L)tempered water for eye washes.
  • Dust Cover: Model 9102 is a stainless steel cover thatprotects the eyewash heads as well as the bowl. Pushingthe stainless steel flag will activate the unit while raising thedust cover. (Picture shows cover mounted to an eyewash.)
