DAVIT INTERNATIONAL, D-RT - DAVIT OF ROLLER TRACK TYPE

D-RT - davit of roller track type are mostly used on small to medium passenger vessels and ferries. 

The pivot arm is lowered from a raised storage position by means of rollers in a track. From the low position the pivot arm will lower the boat to the embarkation position.

The system is designed in that way, that all necessary functions, such as launching and recovery of the boat, are fulfilled. The launching of the boat is realised by gravity only.
To assure a minimum of maintenance all shafts are of stainless steel. All sheaves and rollers contain life time lubricated bushes. This way further greasing is reduced to the minimum.

The winch is equipped with a double-drum for the lowering falls. In case of power failure or malfunctioning of the electric system, hoisting can also be realised manually.
