Universal application, for off-shore waters. With the patented SECUMAR CLICK-buckle the donning and doffing of the lifejacket is very easy, it is donned like a normal jacket.
The twin chambers offer a 100% redundancy in case of a defect in the standard upper buoyancy chamber. The lower chamber can be activated if necessary. The volume of the lower chamber has the same buoyancy as the upper chamber. It is not necessary to inflate extra air via the oral inflation valve.
ADVANTAGES
The lifejacket with Harness (P/N 14164) is equipped with an integrated safety harness.
Approvals:
DIN EN ISO 12402-2 (275N-performance class)
DIN EN ISO 12401 (integral harness / only for models with integral harness)
SOLAS / MED
A SOLAS inflatable life jacket is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade personal flotation device built to strict international maritime regulations. They automatically inflate in under 5 seconds when submerged, feature dual-chamber bladders for redundancy, and are required to turn an unconscious person face-up in the water.

Resolution MSC.554(108) is an International Maritime Organization (IMO) amendment to the International Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) Code. Taking effect on January 1, 2026, it updates performance and testing standards for SOLAS-approved lifejackets, strictly requiring that they reliably turn an unconscious person into a safe orientation in the water.
- Effective Date: January 1, 2026 (applies to new life-saving appliances installed on or after this date).
- Core Performance Change: Stricter in-water orientation testing for unconscious wearers, removing previous test allowances or tolerances for failure to right a person.
- Scope: Applies globally to new equipment on commercial, passenger, and cargo vessels governed by SOLAS regulations.
- Associated Updates: Frequently paired with related LSA code updates like MSC.563(108) and MSC.544(107).
