Notes:

Complete with 1 metre tubing and two sleeve hoses, no weak link supplied. Can be water activated at approx 4 metres, but for float-free installation there shall always be a standard H20 in the lashing system.

The Hammar H20 MRU (Part Number: HM-0300) is a green-labeled manual remote unit used in the Hammar Manual Remote Release System (MRRS). It allows operators to safely deploy life rafts and other marine evacuation systems from a distance by creating an under-pressure inside the system.

System Compatibility & Functionality

Designed primarily for the MRRS (HM-0300), the system operates by manually activating one or more H20 release units via a hand-operated vacuum pump, which triggers a spring-loaded knife. Because the MRU has built-in hydrostatic capabilities, it will also automatically release the life raft at a depth of approximately 4 meters if the ship sinks. 

The unit must be replaced every 2 to 3 years depending on SOLAS and local regulatory requirements
