Sekur Diablo Industrial MM Type 2 self-contained breathing apparatus

The DIABLO self-contained breathing apparatus is available in the INDUSTRIAL MM model specially designed and developed for the industrial world, with features compliant with the European Standard EN 137, and also available in a MED certified version.

DIABLO INDUSTRIAL models are certified and available both in Type 1 version, for general use, and in Type 2 version, which has passed the flash-over resistance test.

This test basically consists of exposing the entire device to flames at a temperature of over 900 ° for 10 seconds, followed by a fall, during which the device must continue to function properly, maintaining the overpressure in the mask and being self-extinguishing.

The backpack is made with an anatomical plate in self-extinguishing synthetic resin. The particular shape allows the cylinders to be housed and locked thanks to a proven version of the snap buckle which also allows the housing of medium and high pressure pipes. The reducer is anchored in such a way as to make it easy and quick to connect to the cylinder and in order to unload the weight of the cylinder itself following the natural lines of force without unnecessarily stressing delicate components of the reducer.
The harness has a composite structure of self-extinguishing yarn and carbon fiber. the buckle is made of metal and self-extinguishing synthetic resin for greater strength, fire resistance and quick adjustment. The shoulder straps are padded and house the high and medium pressure pipes inside them, thus protecting them from fire and abrasions. The two shoulder straps are connected to each other on the chest by a webbing and an anchoring system for greater wearing stability.
The C2000 pressure reducer (patented), compensated type, uses an active thrust compensation principle to close the main valve. It allows a free vent flow of over 1000 liters / minute (at an average consumption of about 40 1 / min under average effort) with a high pressure outlet for the pressure gauge and a medium pressure outlet for the regulator and horn.
The pressure gauge, positioned on the left side of the operator and anchored to the shoulder strap, is connected to the reducer via a high pressure hose.
The buzzer is mounted directly on the reducer body. It is of the two-stage type, driven by high pressure and operated by medium pressure. It is also equipped with a self-test for correct operation (patented): with DIABLO it is in fact sufficient to open the cylinder, a delay of a few seconds has been imposed on the first pressurization of the ducts and of the pressure gauge so that it is easy to follow the slow raising of the pressure gauge needle. . The buzzer will function correctly up to the calibration value, while the whistle will stop when it is exceeded.
The E400 AP / A dispenser is of the self-positive type, that is, it has been designed to automatically switch from the stand-by condition without delivery to the overpressure operating condition due to the operator's first breath.
A version with quick coupling is available that allows the operator to quickly insert / remove the hose from the dispenser to the hose of the reducer body (code 43425125).
The full face mask for overpressure is the C 607 SP / A (the SFERA SP / A panoramic mask is also available).
