The Crewfit 165N Sport is our most compact lifejacket yet and one of the lightest lifejackets available on the market today. This is achieved whilst continuing to include the integral safety features required to ensure the recreational user remains as safe as possible when out on the water. The unique bladder shape with light and hood attachment points is designed to rotate the wearer into a face-up position - even if unconscious.

All of this, plus the addition of our Fusion 3D technology, ensures a benchmark product that offers a comfortable and bespoke fit. The Crewfit 165N Sport is available in four distinct colourways, representing real value for money with no compromise on safety, comfort or style.

The WSH Council has released new Guidelines on Personal Flotation Devices - Life Jackets (2025) to enhance safety for workers operating near water. These guidelines detail employer/worker responsibilities, proper selection based on environment (e.g., ISO 12402 standards), and best practices for maintenance, such as using certified equipment and proper storage.

Key Aspects of the New WSH Guidelines:

• Purpose: To guide the selection, use, and maintenance of life jackets for workers at risk of drowning.
• Key Content:
  • Selection: Recommends selecting appropriatecertified (ISO 12402 or SOLAS) life jackets based on the work environment (e.g., sheltered vs. non-sheltered waters).
  • Maintenance: Emphasizes regularpre-use inspections and storage in well-ventilated areas to prevent degradation.
  • Roles: Outlines responsibilities for employers to provide appropriate equipment and for workers to wear it.
• Context: Launched in collaboration with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

An ISO 12402-3 life jacket is a safety standard for personal flotation devices that specifies the requirements for lifejackets of performance level 150. These lifejackets are intended for general, offshore, or rough water use for adults and children, and are designed to provide sufficient buoyancy and self-righting capabilities to keep the wearer's head above water. They meet safety and performance requirements for these general conditions, and are often required for commercial or recreational boating. 

Key features and requirements

• Performance level 150: This rating indicates the amount of buoyancy and self-righting capability the lifejacket provides.
• General and offshore use: They are suitable for a range of conditions, including rough water, and are designed for general use in a maritime environment.
• Suitable for adults and children: The standard applies to lifejackets for users of different ages.
• Head support: A good design will provide a flotation collar to support the head and keep the airway clear.
• Self-righting: A key function is the ability to turn an unconscious person face-up in the water to prevent drowning.
• Safety: They meet the safety requirements set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
• Inflatables: Many ISO 12402-3 lifejackets are inflatable and may be activated manually or automatically.
