Foam extinguishers are the perfect solution for initial fire of fire classes A and B. Because of its nearly traceless removal, foam is ideal for your living area and office places. Our foam extinguishers also feature high performance extinguishing agents and are additionally more eco-friendly, which are stands out due to its reduced share of fluorine. Instead Jockel uses sustainable foam compositions with polyfluorinated surfactants on the base of C6-fluortelomeres.

Extinguishing effect

Due to low specific density the water film forming foam agents are able to compose a sealed steam-tight aqueous layer on the surface of fire. This barrier prevents escaping of vapour and gas also on burning liquids. In this way oxygen supply is stopped and the fire smothers. In addition the foam agent features a cooling effect thanks to its water content. Jockel also have replaced perfluorinated surfactants with polyfluorinated surfactants (polyFT). Of course, Jockel dispenses with PFOS and PFOA.
